Care Tips for the Wooden Mortars and Pestles
Before the first use of the wooden mortar, we suggest to apply oil on the inside of the mortar. When the oil is absorbed, repeat the procedure 2-3 times. After each use, rinse the wooden mortar and pestle with warm water and mild detergent. Drain the water out of the wooden mortar well, wipe it thoroughly and allow it to dry. Once it has dried completely, you can store the wooden mortar and pestle. Caution! Do not allow the wooden mortar to soak.
