The Clay Coffee Pot Brown No2 is an excellent quality ceramic coffee pot, ideal for making traditional greek coffee, tea, infusion or any favorite hot brew. Using the Clay Coffee Pot Brown No2, thanks to uniform heat distribution and hot air flow, you will prepare the most tasty beverages. The Brown Clay Lid matches perfectly to the Clay Coffee Pot Brown No2. Also, the Clay Lid in the Clay coffee Pot helps to keep the product in same temperature and to not affect from outside conditions. The Clay Coffee Pot Brown No2 is also known as Ceramic Coffee Pot or Fireproof Coffee Pot. However, whatever you call it, we have it!

The Clay Coffee Pot Brown No2 has 440 ml capacity (until the top). Although, it is handmade and there is a possibility the capacity to have some small differences. It is ideal to prepare 8 cups of Turkish / Greek Coffee or 5 1½ cups or Turkish / Greek Coffee. When we say a cup of Turkish / Greek Coffee we mean the traditional porcelain cup which has capacity 50 ml and when we say a 1½ cup of Turkish / Greek Coffee we mean the porcelain cup which has capacity 75 ml.

The Clay Coffee Pot Brown No2 is perfect for use on the flame, open camping fire, fireplace, wood-burning stove or gas stove. Also, the Clay Coffee Pot Brown No2 ideal for use on traditional oven, gas oven, stove oven, electrical oven or microwave. It is very important to remember that it is not allowed to use on the electric cooking hob as well as the rapid temperature changes which can cause cracks. The Clay Coffee Pot Brown No2 is suitable both for domestic and for professional use.

The Clay Coffee Pot Brown No2 and the Clay Lid are made in Greece, for the Dimtsas Company, by experienced and skilled craftsmen. The Clay Coffee Pot Brown No2 and the Clay Lid are made of clay and it is glazed inside and outside. Both clay and glaze are made of materials suitable for food contact, lead-free and cadmium-free. They are certified by our own laboratories as well as by the EFET laboratory, according to European Union specifications. The Clay Coffee Pot Brown No2 and the Clay Lid has fired at 1.100 °C and is resistant to high temperature, without limits.

Useful Tips for Proper Use

  • Before the use, we soak the Clay Dutch Oven into the water for half an hour. In this way the pores of the Clay Dutch Oven will fill with water. After this time we remove the Clay Dutch Oven from the water, we towel it in order not to drip and we cook without let the Clay Dutch Oven to dry.
  • Cook only over low heat.
  • Never put the Clay Dutch Oven on the heat without content.
  • Never put the Clay Dutch Oven on the electric hob.
  • The first seven - eight times that we use the Clay Dutch Oven should be washed only with hot water and soda. Generally, do not use detergents nor dishwasher.
  • The Clay Dutch Oven must dry very well, before store.
  • Attention to the rapid temperature changes.
