You must replace the Cap D1, of the standard equipment, with the Cap D2 on the Hand Oil Screw Press. Make sure that you have put the flat washer in the Cap D2. Tighten up the Cap D2 on the press cage until you are sure that the flat washer has been tightened firmly. The flat washer leaves enough room to the screw, so it can be rotated. Insert the adjustment bolt onto the Hand Oil Screw Press, just like you use it with the Cap D1 of the standard equipment.
Initial setting for the Adjustment Bolt:
You must leave the outlet of the Cap D2, fully open.
Fill the burner bottle with paraffin oil and light the burner. The burner is used during pressing of the olives. Before use, heat up the Hand Oil Screw Press during 20 minutes.
Place a container under the Hand Oil Screw Press to collect the produced olive oil. Make sure that the olives you want to press are at room temperature 25°C - 30°C. While the crank is rotated, you must fill the Hand Oil Screw Press with olives, frequently. Use fresh fully ripened oil olives with theirs kernels. You could add some dried olives leaves, depending on your personal preferences.
Push the olives into the Hand Oil Screw Press with the pestle from the Easyfill Set. Do not overfill the Hand Oil Screw Press because too mach pulp in the press cage blocks the oil flow. Once the press cake leaves the cap, slightly tighten the adjustment bolt until optimal extraction. It takes some practice to find the best setting for the Cap D2.
