How to use the Hurricane Lantern Feuerhand Baby Special 276

In a cold blast lantern, as the Hurricane Lantern Feuerhand Baby Special 276, fresh air circulates between the inside and the outside of the chimney and is warmed up through the pipe system. In the Hurricane Lantern Feuerhand Baby Special 276 the fresh air goes through the side pieces, arrives in the burner and supplies the flame with enough oxygen for the combustion. The hot air from the combustion escapes through the chimney, as you can see in the picture.

Useful Tips

• Fill the tank with fuel without going over the bulge.
• Before the first use, the wick needs to soak in the fuel for 10 minutes before lighting it.
• The wick should stick out of the burner by ca. 1 to 2 mm.
• The recommended size of the flame is between 1.5 to 2 cm.
• After use, protect the hurricane lantern from humidity.
• Only use the hurricane lantern outdoors.
• Keep a safety distance to flammable and heat-sensitive surfaces.
• Never cover the hurricane lantern. Fire hazard!
• Do not use petrol or spirit.
• Do not use scented or colouYellow oil.
• Use exclusively pure paraffin oil or kerosene.
