The Convection Lid Petromax is made in Germany by the company Petromax. The Convection Lid Petromax turns the Petromax Atago into a convection oven or smoker. Also, the Convection Lid Petromax can be combined with the Cast Iron Dutch Ovens Petromax 1.1L, 1.8L, 4L, 6.1L and 8L (ft1-ft9) on an open fire and turns the Dutch Ovens into convection ovens or smoker.

The Convection Lid made of heat-resistant and fireproof aramid fibres. The Convection Lid thanks to the coated inside and the close-meshed aramid fibres, prevents heat escape but also allows heat to circulate which creates an almost closed system. This system offers optimal temperatures for uniform baking, smoking and cooking while at the same time achieving energy saving.

The Convection Lid folds down to just 25 mm thick so can easily be stored in the pocket of the Transport and Storage Bag for the Petromax Atago PR0045.
