The Fire Kit Petromax is ideal to start a fire for barbeque, fireplace, open fire or in a chimney. Even in case of inconvenient weather such as rain or snow Zunder Petromax continues burning. However, extinguishing it with water is very easy and safe.
The granules Zunder Petromax can burns up to 15 minutes, evenly and odourless. Important when lighting it: make sure you put Zunder Petromax on a small pile for a better heat concentration.
The Zunder Petromax thanks to its light weight and resealable zipper bag it is easy to transport. On the way, the zip lock bag protects the Zunder Petromax from water, even after the first use. An undesirable inflammation of Zunder Petromax for instance by sunlight, is almost impossible because its flash point lies above 392°F (200 °C).
