The Firebox fb1 is made of stainless steel and produced in China from the Germany company Petromax. The Firebox fb1 is a small Source of Heat but also a Cooking Area, only for outdoor use, ideal for adventurers, campers and bushcraft fans. The Firebox fb1 is also known as Source of Heat.
The Firebox fb1, thanks to its design, ensures a safe and protected source of heat. The Firebox fb1 is an eco-friendly and safe variant of the traditional campfire, for the fire burns exclusively in a separate Fire Tray and leaves thus no burnt patch behind.
The Firebox fb1 is also an excellent Cooking Area. The Firebox fb1 has an extremely high heat output, so that ideal cooking temperatures can easily be reached. The fire burns only in the separate Fire Tray, which allows you to cook, grill, make coffee or bake! Baking is possible, for the Fire Tray can be lifted up two levels with the optional Oven Brackets, so that baking is made possible between the ground of the Firebox fb1 and the Fire Tray.
The Firebox fb1 can be completed with other Petromax products, e.g. the Tea and Coffee Percolator “Perkomax” Black or White, the Teakettle 1.5 lt or 3 lt, the Mug Enamel White or Black 360ml, or the Cast Iron Dutch Ovens Petromax and be used in many different ways.
The Firebox fb1 thanks to the ingenious design creates a stack effect which burns branches and twigs economically, yet at an extremely high temperature. The precise cuts in the material serve as expansion joints and supply the fire with enough fresh air. They ensure that the Firebox fb1 does not become permanently distorted even at very high temperatures.
The Firebox fb1 can be assembled in just a few steps and took apart just as easily after each use. The parts made of stainless steel can then be cleaned problem-free and packed in the practical pouch made of water-repellent ripstop fabric. Moreover, practical accessories, e.g. the optional Oven Brackets or Legs for Firebox, can be packed along with the Petromax Firebox to save space.
